FOR ALL WOMAN WHO WERE CREATED EQUIAL
June 23, 2006
zingtrial
Woman was taken out of man,not out of his head to top him,nor out of his feet to be trampled underfoot, but out of his side to be equal to him, under his arm to be protected ,and near his heart :X to be loved. Those who know the truth are not equal to those who love it.
My thoughts this morning ,
Treat your women well and be kind to them for they are your partners
Some of these were quoted by great people, and in today's practise no one practices these things.
I like to read all kind of books trust me to pick this one up,
Women in Islam. (BIG "DUH") =)) (Banging his head against the wall).
However I came across this
The Koran IS addressed to all Muslims ,And for the most part it does not differentiate between male and female,MAN AND WOMAN,IT SAYS "WERE CREATED OF A SINGLE SOUL"
And are moral equals in the sight of god.(WOW!!!)
Woman have the right to divorce.Inherit property, to conduct business and to have access to knowledge.
Let me think If this is true, why are these woman not getting thier right
Girls forced into marriages.(Bangladesh,Pakistan,India etc
Forbid them to drive cars.(they cant drive in Riyadh)
Woman forced into polygamous marriages(Money exchange)
Mutilates their genitals,(ohhh man X( the >:) still a practise in Africa
Instant divorce? (humiliation)
After reading all those things ,I was amazed these people call them self Muslims
Its cultural norms and style of society
In-fact non of these practise is Islamic at all
(Must go to bed EYES DROPPING)
HMMMMMMM learnt something today I read this tomorrow

we are all the same to God whether man or woman, black or brown, big or small…we all deserve the respect we appreciate from others. maybe post like this one will help in bringing this problem out in the open.

Oh boy, do I have an opinion on this subject!
(deep breath)
but, this is my first post here, so I shall not rant.
However, I do know quite a bit about the history of the Aberhamic religions in relation to the status of women.
Drop over to my blog and inquire, if you want an ear full on the subject.
In the mean time,
Nice ta meet ya.

Re:
“Woman was taken out of man…”
This is the greatest lie ever told.
There are so many stories from mythology of the demi god being born from the womans side, (including Buddha.)
But the idea that woman was born from man, now that twist is a real humdinger!
You can look at all these stories side by side, and see how the telling evolved over time.
It is obvious that this story was taken from earlier tales, and then twisted to put man in the center.
Women were considered magical in early times, because of their ability to give birth. The fist calendars were lunar calendars, created by women, who marked the phases of the moon to predict their menstrual cycles. Women were the living symbols of the cycle of nature, and thus revered as our connection to the divine.
Men wanted in on the action, so they created this new version of the old tree of life story:
In the old version, a hero would be sent on a quest to save his people, if he proved his worth, the goddess would appear, take him to the tree of life, guarded by her familiar, the serpant, who was the symbol of healing knowlege, and reward him with the fruit from the tree of life. He would then take the fruit, return home, heal his people, and become king.
This makes sense. Women in hunter gatherer tribes DID have knowlege and skill in the art of using plants as medicine.
But then this nomadic tribe of wandering sheperds comes along, and they dont have much respect for their women. Traveling with a pregnant woman in tow was a liability.
They dont like the goddess stories. So they change the telling.
The goddess becomes eve. YWHE steps in as the god, and the serpent becomes evil.
Their version strips the goddess of all her power and honor, severs our connection to the art of holistic healing, puts Adam in a position of power over eve, and condems the miracle of childbirth as a punishment for all women.
and the people are believing this load of horse pucky!
AUGGGGHHHHH!!!!!!

Any time cyber sista
Just for fun, look at medical symbols: like the AMA for instance.
Two snakes coiled around a staff with a set of wings on top.
The staff is the symbol of the healer, ruler, wizard, crone, priest, sage and shaman.
Its a sign of power and authority. But where did it come from?
The ruler was a stick that had hash marks, to mark the days. The first calendar. (created by women to mark the time between moon phases.)
Having this knowlege was very powerful back then, being that folks were so dependant on the cycle of seasons.
So, the one with the ruler, was the leader.
Thus, we have the modern meaning of the word ruler, to measure, or to lead, like a king.
The snake is the symbol of healing because of all the animals, the snake has the most intimate connection to plants. It goes under the ground, up in the trees, and in the water, slithering along on its belly amid the plants.
So, the ruler with the knowlege of the snake is pretty powerful. A healer and guide with secret (esoteric) knowlege.
But, people also needed other types of leaders. Leaders who would protect against enemies.
Thats where the wings come in, and the Holy Grail.
Most folks say that the wings on the AMA logo are the wings of Hermes.
But other sources suggest that back in the first civilization of ancient Sumeria, they had ceremonies in which the high priestess, (the chick with the ruler and the snake) would adorn a hero with a palm fron cape. She would give him a challace to drink starfire from, (the basis of holy communion)
and give him the ruler.
He would then become a leader.
These palm frons looked like hawk wings (sacred among the Egyptians)
and thus, we have the first angels.
The priestesses would handle all the spiritual guidance and healing for the people, while the “king” would handle the day to day organizing, and unite the people against outside threats.
(ever notice how all the old testament angels wore swords and battle armor? They were PEOPLE! People who ate and drank and spoke to people, and fought wars.)
Now, if this subject interest you, …ask me what Starfire is.
Then I can really blow your mind!
LOL
